Module - Postcard Rotator
For a recent website development i had a need to show a short series of images in a nice frame with Next/Previous buttons and have each image accompanied by a title and sub-text.
There seems to be a woeful lack of good image galleries for Joomla! and my needs were not really that of a full size gallery. So I set about writing something that would do the job.

Module - Weather
This module was borne out of a desire to exercise my AJAX skills, but it has come in useful on more than one occasion.
Once installed and set up it will display the current and forecast weather report using the Google weather API, complete with images.

Module - Drop Down Menu
I was in the process of converting a very large static site into a Joomla! CMS version and one part in particular was looming for which I had already decided to spend some time custom coding.
The static site had drop downs or select boxes depending on how you like to call them. Not big fancy CSS dropdowns, just your basic HTML form select boxes. The content was menu options, but each had to contain the sub-menu items of a particular parent item.

Module - Custom Forms
I've worked on a few projects recently that had the need for a bespoke form or three. Also, I've never been entirely happy with the default Joomla! contact form. Sure, it has lots of options but mostly I just want to be able to offer visitors a quick method to email from the site and I want to be able to style that page with more flexibility than the default option offers. Sometimes I might want a form with 30 fields, other perhaps only 2 or 3.
